My husband bought a new dogwood for the side of the house – I love the white ones but this one has strangely formed pink blossoms and they looked like they were dancers to me. SOLD
I wanted a new challenge – and working on this parrot tulip gave me the opportunity to use what seemed all the colors in the rainbow.
The image comes from a photograph taken in Napa at a “Crush Multiple Sclerosis” fundraiser. My son, unfortunately, suffers from MS, SOLD

My neighbor Asa celebrated his 90th birthday at a restaurant and this was one of the table decorations. A lovely man, who is no longer with us, but I can remember him this way. The variety and vibrancy reflect an incredible man, Asa Hanamoto.
The Heirloom Expo in Santa Rosa had piles of weird and wonderful pumpkins, squashes and this one was just so interesting with all its bumps and roundness.
My friend moved to Lake Oswego in Oregon and while visiting her and her lovely garden, I was taken by all the poppies that were everywhere. The seeds were sown by her granddaughter in wild abandonment but the effect was enchanting. SOLD
We had the most marvelous lunch at the Bon Marche restaurant in Paris after a blissful tour of the Grand Epicerie…what delights. The coffee was beautifully served with a heart shaped sugar cube perched on the cup. Oh to relive the experience! SOLD
